Here's a picture of the pilot model of the Kawasaki car. We've been showing it at the fall shows and the response is great. We are working on the final design changes. The laser cut parts will be styrene. The AC pods at the ends of the corrugated center roof will be resin castings with etched stainless grills on top. BLMA has produced a set of custom etched side vents; we're also using their fans to represent the 24" fans in the air conditioning units.
We've refined the car sides and created internal parts. We're working on an easy to use window insert for flush mounting. All the graphics have been created in an electronic file which has been sent out to Microscale (a second time) and we're awaiting pricing.
We've been told about a metallic paint that simulates stainless steel and we're hoping to give it a try this summer to see how it looks.
